There are two really difficult places to do this sort of a recording, one is a cathedral, and the other is a tea shop. This is recorded in the cathedral tea shop, it was hot, there is a fan, in the early part there is a music lesson in the background, there is background chatting and a certain amount of crockery clattering…but still you are going to be able to hear what David says…
Who is David Hoyle?
The Very Revd Dr David Hoyle MA is Dean of Bristol Cathedral, he chairs Cathedral Chapter and is the most senior priest in the Diocese of Bristol. He is a member of the Bishop’s Staff and Diocesan Synod.
He was ordained in 1987 and his curacy was in Chesterton in Cambridge. He has been Fellow, Chaplain and Dean of Magdalene College, Cambridge, and vicar of Christ Church Southgate. From there he was Director of Ministry for the Diocese of Gloucester, and then he was appointed Dean.
