Who is Sheila Nowell?

Sheila is ‘my friend Karen’s Mum’. Sheila trained as a nurse, motivated to care by her Christian Faith. She finished her midwife training and then travelled on a fiancee ticket to Malaya to marry Norman who was posted there with the RAF. Karen was born when they were posted from there to Singapore.

Her life followed her husband’s postings both in the UK and abroad and has experience of church in all these settings. Sheila goes to Corsham Baptist Church and is a keen member of the Wednesday afternoon service.
