Who is Revd Canon Douglas Holt?

Douglas doesn’t have a twitter profile I could find, but this was his last appointment announcement in Church Times.

HOLT. The Revd Douglas Holt, formerly Director of Strategic Support, and Hon. Canon of Bristol Cathedral (Bristol), now half-time Priest-in-Charge of St John the Baptist’s, Hove (Chichester).

I know Douglas from his time as director of strategic support in Bristol Diocese.

But I met him in Hove (actually).

Douglas is married to Ann who is currently Director of Education for Chichester Diocese.

Douglas (in a similar way to Richard Clutterbuck) tried to retire in 2014 and failed, we wish him luck in future attempts…
